June 2nd: Safe on the Streets, Safe on the Beach - NTTC Mtg.

The New Tampa Community Council (NTCC) has developed a unique evening program for the New Tampa community called “Safe on the Streets, Safe on the Beach” to be held on June 2, 2005 at 6:30 p.m. at the New Tampa Library - 10001 Cross Creek Blvd. Summer is coming to New Tampa, so it is the perfect time to protect your children and yourself from all types of threats. Local experts will share strategies about personal safety and health. Self-defense expert, Steve Del Castillo of Premier Martial Arts will present Kid Safe, specifically designed to empower young people and parents in challenging situations. A representative from University Community Hospital will offer tips about skin protection and cancer prevention. Ron Coleman, one of the world’s most recognized natural bodybuilders and wellness consultants, founder of Fitness Crusaders, 1994 Mr. Universe, and 1995 Pan Am Games Gold Medalist will share nutrition and exercise insights to help get your body ready for the hot summer months.
