Ear, Nose, & Throat - Dr. Scotch's Office Now Open

Wesley Chapel, FL - Brett M. Scotch, D.O., has opened the first full-time Ear, Nose, & Throat practice in Wesley Chapel.

Dr. Scotch is board certified in Otolaryngology (ENT, or Ear, Nose, & Throat), Head & Neck Surgery, and Facial Plastic Surgery. In addition to general ENT care, he has a special interest in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disordered breathing problems and snoring. With his extensive medical and surgical training, Dr. Scotch brings a unique perspective and approach to patients with sleep disordered breathing. Not only can he provide a full range of medical treatment options, but should surgical intervention be necessary, he can offer expert consultation regarding all available options. He utilizes the latest techniques in minimally invasive surgery whenever possible.

Dr. Scotch moved his family to Tampa in 2005 to serve our country on active duty as a Major in the United States Air Force Medical Corps. He cared for military personnel, their families, and military retirees at the MacDill Air Force Base Hospital. He also served as the medical director of the MacDill Air Force Base Sleep Laboratory and directed audiological services. He was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the health and welfare of our nation’s service members and their families.

Dr. Scotch completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Florida in Gainesville, where he graduated Cum Laude. He then received his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Following medical school, Dr. Scotch completed a one-year internship in Miami and then went on to complete a five-year residency in Otorhinolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery and Facial Plastic Surgery at the Michigan State University Affiliated Hospitals.

Dr. Scotch is a member of the American Osteopathic College of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery; the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery; the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy; the American Osteopathic Association; and the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association.

Dr. Scotch’s office, ENT & Facial Plastic Surgery Specialists, PL, is located in the Cypress Ridge Professional Center, 2311 Cypress Cove, Suite 101/Building 14 in Wesley Chapel, FL 33544. The office is located just off of SR56, between Bruce B. Downs Blvd and I-75.
