If you’ve dreamed of an outdoor wedding, the Pebble Creek Club’s ceremony staging on the 1st tee provides a spectacular view of lush golf course lawns, trees, and greenery as your backdrop. Center stage is the bride and groom beneath a romantic white arbor decorated to match your color/floral theme. Just as pretty, your guests (up to 150) have front-row seating in sturdy white chairs with comfortable deep seats enjoying the view and the ceremony. That’s only the beginning of your unforgettable photos. The staff will drive you and your party to the most picturesque spots like Hole 10 or 18 with grandfather oaks dripping with flowing Spanish moss, wooden bridges, or beside lakes to catch your reflections for a lifetime. Best of all, your guests are just outside the doors of the Banquet Hall for a smooth transition to the wedding reception inside.
The Banquet Hall has been newly expanded to spaciously accommodate up to 125 guests seated 8 to a table (approx. 200’ x 75’). Surrounded on 3 sides with huge 6ft. paneled windows with golf course views and patio doors leading to the veranda, there’s also a dance floor, D.J. area, full bar, skirted cake and gift tables and a long head table beside the windows facing the 1st tee. Add the beautiful wall sconces, chandeliers, overhead lighting, potted palms with twinkling white lights and candles for a soft glow, and you have the makings of a party or reception that is simply “elegant.” That’s the word Kim Martin, Director of Sales and Event Planning, used to describe the up-scale atmosphere. This setting, even on a modest budget using the mirrored center pieces, 4 votive candles per table and 2 large hurricane-style candles for a head table which are included if you choose to use them in your décor, creates elegance when personalized with your party’s color combinations of table linens and napkins (also included) or optional chair covers and sashes to complete the table settings.
Take the stress out of planning your dream party, reception or event; choose the Pebble Creek Banquet Hall and you’ve chosen the banquet chefs and catering staff, the Hall’s service staff, and Kim Martin as your event planner to walk you through every decision. She will even pre-set a table so you can see how all the linens, candles or decorations complement your color choices or party theme. The staff does all the set-up and break-down while Kim oversees the coordination of all the vendors from florists/decorators, photographers, D.J’s/bands, cakes or chocolate fountains, to wedding officials. She’s there before the event starts (set-up can begin as early as 7am), continues as host, and stays until it’s over (doors close at 1am)!
Get your “Game Plan” on paper. As the Director and Event Planner, Kim also creates spreadsheets itemizing expenses (including tax and gratuity) for the food and banquet hall facilities, including flowers, photography, music, cakes/desserts, decorations, etc. Using your free copy of The Perfect Wedding Guide, Kim will make recommendations for the vendors and services you need at the price you can afford, with options for various plans. There are no hidden expenses. She also helps you stick to a time-line so nothing is left undone. It’s best to schedule the date of your party or event with the Pebble Creek Banquet Hall at least 4-6 months in advance as only 1 event, party, or wedding/reception is held per date. Saturdays are the most popular. On short notice, you can check for cancellations or plan a Friday or Sunday event.
Showing you entertaining options that will keep everyone happy is easy. Besides the banquet hall, the covered outdoor veranda can also seat up to 100 guests with linens to match the indoor table décor. There are ceiling fans for cool breezes, a TV to entertain guests, lights and electric to power outdoor D.J’s or bands. Additional tables can be set in the adjacent courtyard, which also makes a nice cocktail area. With the wall of glass doors between the banquet hall and the veranda, parents can be casual chaperones viewing the party activities from either side! Bar service is also available to the outside tables, as well. Another option for an indoor reception cocktail area is the fire-side room (fireplace with lovely décor) inside the clubhouse which connects to the banquet hall. Depending on the size of your event or party, the entire club and grounds can be rented for the entire day.
When you talk with Kim, you can hear the spark in her voice as she describes the “WOW” factor created by the catering staff led by Matt Downey and team of chefs – Trent Hoare, Lee Spencer, and Ivan Candelaria. Going above and beyond what you might expect, Matt makes every plate the perfect display of proportion, presentation, and preparation. Kim will discuss buffet or plated dinner service options and custom menus. Some favorites feature chicken cordon bleu and large portions of fresh grouper as the hall is known for its fresh fish delivered by Tampa’s Pirate Seafood. A sample Spanish menu might be tasty beef and chicken kabobs, spicy red kidney beans, yellow rice, and plantains. You can also opt for chef-attended carving stations, too. Full bar service is available. Another suggestion is to serve flavorful and colorful punch drinks in giant crystal bowls on elegantly skirted tables with matching linens for a festive look. Punch bowls can be replenished as needed and 4 different punches can be served at once. Alcohol flavored favorites include rum punch, sangria, and coquito – a traditional Puerto Rican celebration drink.
