Cross Creek Blvd: Widening Project Update

As requested by the Board at the March 8 Advisory Board meeting, the latest information on the Cross Creek Boulevard Widening Project follows:

The project limits are Cross Creek Boulevard (Larkbunting Drive to West Cory Lake Blvd.)

Bids were originally to be opened 3/7/06. There has been some delay and they are currently slated to be opened 3/14/06.


Approximately 3 months later, mid-June 2006, a Notice-To-Proceed (NTP) is expected to be issued for construction to begin.

Duration will be approximately one (1) year. There will also be waste water work done in conjunction with this project.

Traffic Signals will be installed as part of this project at:

Highland Oak Drive (Hunters Green)

Kinnan Street (with storage lanes) and

Arbor Greene Drive

The City is coordinating a possible, future traffic signal (outside of this project) with the developer at the intersection of W. Cory Lake Boulevard.
