New Tampa Arts Festival - November 17 & 18

November 17 & 18 – The New Tampa Community Council will be hosting the New Tampa Arts Festival on Saturday and Sunday, November 17 & 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Palm Lake in Tampa Palms office complex, 15310 Amberly Drive.

The New Tampa Arts Festival is a juried outdoor show featuring fine art and crafts. This first - annual show making its debut this fall and has attracted several previous awardees from major local festivals such as Gasparilla Fine Arts Show and CraftArt.

Exhibitors include renowned local artists such as Michael D'Andrea, Peter Streit, Susan Livingston, John Costin, Ellen Marshall and Michael Parker among others. The approximately fifty artists will be displaying and selling their works in an intimate setting “Under the Oaks” provided by the prestigious Palm Lake at Tampa Palms owners.

The public is invited to attend for free with food and beverage available for purchase.

The artists will be competing for a prize purse of $9500 contributed by the New Tampa Community Council and event sponsors.

Capitol Realty Investors is providing the outdoor exhibition space.

Art Keeble, Executive Director Arts Council of Hillsborough County states, “This exciting, high quality new show has the potential to be one of the areas finest arts events. It is wonderful how New Tampa has stepped forward to ensure this arts presence in their community.”
